Florida's B.E.S.T. Standards for Math Training
Here you'll find information on training sessions offered throughout the summer to both teachers and administrators. There are both live and prerecorded sessions that educators implementing Big Ideas Learning can either join or view to learn about their program, and how to implement it.

Live Trainings for Florida's B.E.S.T. Standards for Math
Getting Started for Administrators
In this session, administrators will learn and understand how to navigate the Florida's B.E.S.T. Standards for Math Administrator Platform to better support their teachers and their students. Administrators will learn how to use the platform to view building and district data. Along with the platform navigation and data analysis, administrators will better understand the lesson structure to support observations and classroom walk throughs. (Sessions will run for 90 minutes)

Next Steps | Florida's B.E.S.T. Standards for Math
In this session, new and returning users will focus on top resources with an emphasis on Florida Benchmark Assessments. Learn how to create custom assignments, view reports, and use data to drive instruction. (Session will run for 90 minutes)

In this session, teachers will dive deeper into the BigIdeasMath.com platform. Best suited for teachers with experience using BigIdeasMath.com or teachers who have previously attended the Getting Started session, we will showcase the hidden gems of resources and take a deeper dive into the data available to you through BigIdeasMath.com.

Getting Started for Teachers
In these sessions, teachers will learn the fundamentals of navigating the Florida's B.E.S.T. Standards for Math digital experience, accessed through BigIdeasMath.com. Geared toward first-time users of the platform, we will guide you through the essentials of getting started. Understanding class management, accessing student performance data, student learning paths, and how to incorporate the digital experience into your classroom instructions will be the focus of this session. (Sessions will run for 90 minutes)

Administrators learn how to use the platform to view building and district data. Along with the platform navigation and data analysis, administrators gain a better understanding of the lesson structure to support observations and classroom walk throughs.
Getting Started for Teachers
In this session, teachers learn the fundamentals of navigating and using the digital components of Florida's B.E.S.T. Standards for Math. Geared towards first-time teachers, we guide you through the basics of getting started. Accessing and using key tools and features within the digital experience such as the Teacher Dashboard, Resource Library, Dynamic Classroom, and simple assignment creation.
